Week 2- in class work

This week I worked on editing part 1 of the storefront project from the feedback that Ms. Stevens gave my group.  I didn't understand the full extent of how in-depth the storefront report has to be. I worked on that most of the week and I was sick on Wednesday. I also talked to the main office about requesting a table after school to sell the water bottles. Also this week found out that that the water bottles won't get here till christmas eve. Which is a major set back because we were expecting to get them this week. Another set back is that we have competition with the cheerleading team for selling water bottles. And also I worry about the quality of the water bottles that we bought. Also I have talked to the team leader for the water bottle project. He seems reluctant to rent a table after school, I believe if we do we might sell more water bottles. He wants to sell them by word of mouth, which might cause a problem for several reasons. Because word of mouth doesn't travel fast and we need to sell these because having too much inventory isn't good. We also have no place to sell them from. Selling water bottles from our backpacks just isn't convenient or appropriate. I believe that this plan isn't well thought out. We need a more serious plan going forward.

  1. Take charge! You've got solid reservations here, and the team needs to step up and address them. As part of this team, you must help them see that there are problems that they need to face right away. Word of mouth will only sell a few water bottles. They are not an exciting enough product to be sold this way. You'll need to find a way to get people to want these water bottles, and this will only happen if you do more to market them. Get your group to listen to you!
